Loopii ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

We may collect: account information (e.g. email or phone number if you provide it), profile details (avatar, interest tags, display name), content you post (posts, events, trade listings), location data (only if you enable it), usage data (e.g. device type, app interactions), and AI companion conversation data (processed to generate responses).

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, personalise content and recommendations, show nearby people and events (with your consent), enforce our terms, and communicate with you about the service.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider. We take reasonable measures to ensure your data is handled securely.

5. AI Companions

AI companion conversations are processed solely to provide responses within the app. These conversations are not used for advertising purposes or shared with third parties.

6. Voice Messages

Loopii allows users to send voice messages within private chats. Voice recordings are captured only when you actively initiate a voice message. Recordings are uploaded and stored securely on our servers for the purpose of delivering the message to the intended recipient. We do not use voice data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering your message. You may delete your voice messages at any time from within the app.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who assist our operations, or when required by law.

8. Your Choices

You can control location sharing and notifications in your device settings. You may use anonymous display names. You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure; use the service at your own risk.

10. Children

Loopii is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes within the app.

12. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Australia, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
