You can delete your Loopii account at any time. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)

1. Open the Loopii app
2. Go to Profile (bottom right)
3. Tap Settings (top right)
4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2 — Request via email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at support@loopii.io from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your profile (avatar, display name, interest tags)
• Your posts, events, and trade listings
• Your messages and conversations
• Your comments and likes
• Your location history
• Your AI companion conversation history
• Your account authentication credentials

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for a limited period for legal and operational reasons:

• Transaction records (if you purchased a subscription) — retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
• Anonymised usage data that cannot be linked back to you
• Data required by applicable law

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active Loopii Premium subscription, please cancel it through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

Processing Time

Account deletion is processed immediately when initiated through the app. All personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Backup data is fully purged within 90 days.
